Unique fauna table lamp in hard wood, 1950's

Unique table lamp with a base depicting tropical fauna life with an elephant and three King Cobra's rising up to the top! Very unusual, probably dating from the fifties (or earlier) and likely to have been exported from South East Asia back in the days.
 
It is in very good to excellent condition with a paper cord shade and a switch in the electrical cord.
