Table / wall lamp, model Eclisse by Vico Magistretti for Artemide, 1970

[SOLD] Vico Magistretti (1920 - 2006) was an Italian industrial designer, furniture designer, light designer and architect.
 
The Eclisse lamp is designed in 1965 while travelling in the Milan metro, on the back of a ticket. It went in production in 1966. You can find the Artemide Eclisse table lamp in the Artemide catalogue from 1973. It is also suitable for wall mounting.
 
We have a wonderful bright yellow edition of this iconic lamp in stock. In very good condition with virtually no signs of age bar a hardly noticeable deformation at the back (see photo). Cleaned, polished and checked. In full working order with still its original switch and Artemide plug!
