Purist stool by Ate van Apeldoorn for Houtwerk Hattem, 1970

[SOLD] Beautiful purist stool by the Dutch master of woodwork, mister Ate van Apeldoorn. He founded his own woodwork factory called "Houtwerk Hattem" (still operational).

We love this kind of furniture: honest, functional, clear construction and a very well balanced form. Made of elm with a saddle leather seat with rope support.

It combines very well with modernistic or traditional interiors.

In honest condition with the right patina!
