Rare lounge chair with ottoman & coffee table, 1970

[SOLD] Very rare lounge chair in Space Age design with its ottoman. To make it even more rarer there is a coffee table as well!
 
The form language of this set is just stunning: the flowing lines of the base are remiscent of the Space Age era. This is enhanced by the shape of the round and encompasing cushions.
 
The base of the chair, ottoman and coffee table is made of plywood with a white melamine top coating. Their sides are finished in a beautiful dark and light brown striped pattern.
The cushions are made of thick but supple leather in a mid brown colour. The interior of the chair and the ottoman is supported by springs.
The coffee table has a split top which serves as two removable serving trays. A mirrored rosewood veneer with sloping sides gives it it's exquisite look.

Label under the ottoman with 'SIMMONS'. Research yielded nothing but a company in the US that distributes furniture since the 1950's. To be further investigated.
 
This set is in very good condition. No structural issues, wood in excellent condition, leather cushions of chair with beautiful patina (no rips or stains!) and ottoman near perfect as is the coffee table (no water stains).
 
Chair, ottoman and coffee table can be disassembled.
