Umbrella stand Pluvium by Piretti for Castelli, Italy 1972

[SOLD] Futuristic umbrella stand designed by Giancarlo Piretti for Anonima Castelli. Typical '70s design. It unwinds from a column into a spiral: an umbrella stand with a twist! Each disc can hold an umbrella. Shape it as you like!
 
A heavy weight in the base prevents it from tipping over. The rubber closure plate on the bottom is missing (which is only visible when you turn it upside down). Light discolourisation. No cracks or damages.
