Large optic fiber lamp by Zanotta, Italy 1960

[SOLD] Stylish Italian optic fiber lamp designed by Hans Jürgen Fischer for Zanotta. A quintessential piece of home decoration in the sixties. When this type of lighting was introduced, it was ultra modern and every design addict had to have one. Dim the lights, switch on your Zanotta optic fiber lamp and put a record on your stereo. Groovy.
 
The condition is good. It is in functional order and as with all these older optic fiber lamps, some fibers lit up better than others. One tip of a corner is slightly damaged, which at some point in time has been straightened. The chrome is bright and shiny. Original makers label.
