Modernist sideboard CR series by Cees Braakman for Pastor, 1960

Modernist sideboard in Wengé wood by Cees Braakman for Pastoe. This edition is part of the Made to Measure series (also CR-series).
There is a lot to tell about this striking design: the Wenge wood finish with the typical white-grey Pastoe lacquered fronts, the minimlist door handles. But what really sets off this sideboard are the shape of the legs. Usually they come with either metal legs or straight wooden legs. Just look at the elegance and balanced design of this base!
 
It comprises 4 drawers en 2 large lids with ample storage space. The far left space is adorned with an automatic interior light, as to serve as dry bar!
