Large dining set TU30 by Cees Braakman for Pastoe, 1975

Modernist dining set TU30 with six chairs by the famous Dutch designer Cees Braakman. Produced by Pastoe in the seventies.
 
With an ingeniuos mechanism the table is easily extendable from about 175cm to 230cm to accommodate 8 to 10 people. With its aluminium frame bolted together by black Allen bolts it has got a very modern and stylish look with interesting square lines. The table top is made of wood with a white melamine surface. The surface has a faint texture and is finished in (medium)matt white.
The set is completed by six comfortable chairs with matching frames and upholstered in black leather.
