Fuga by Maija Liisa Komulainen for Raak, the Netherlands 1960
[SOLD] The Fuga was designed by Maija Liisa Komulainen in the late fifties. Raak commissioned promising designers and architects from all over the world. Komulainen (1922) is a succesful Finnish architect who joined the Raak design team in the fifties.
The design of the Fuga is uncomplicated: metal tubes reminiscent of organ pipes cleverly conceal the light source, resulting in a very pleasant light. This trio is finished in the rare copper anodised aluminium which gives them the rose gold appearance. The clean lines will fit into interiors from classic to contemporary.
The condition is very good to excellent. Almost no signs of wear and fully operational. Original makers and model label present. A great design piece to enjoy!
