Floor lamp by GePo, Amsterdam 1970

[SOLD] Clean lines best define this floor lamp. Produced by the Dutch lighting company GePo (Gebroeders Posthuma). With a modest loan from their mother, these two brothers started their own lighting company in the sixties. They aimed at affordable design. By 1972 they realised an anual turn-over of one million. However, production seized at the beginning of the 1980's.
 
GePo lamps are known for their clean design, often in chrome with acrylic details.
 
A nice piece of history in very good condition. No dents in the chrome. Makers label.
