Butterfly chair F675 by Pierre Paulin for Artifort, 1962

[SOLD] It took us some time to source this iconic and well cared for Butterfly chair. It is designed by the French designer Pierre Paulin for Artifort in 1962. This chair, type F675, is better known as the 'Butterfly chair' due to its light structure and spreaded wings.
 
Here we have a totally original F675 in deep black leather with a wonderful patina from normal age and use. Hard to find in this condition with the original leather and lacing!
 
The leather is in very good condition, fed by us with natural leather balm. The metal frame is shiny. The four original black plastic floor protectors are present.
 
Would look great in any modern design interior. An original vintage Butterfly chair is becoming harder to find.
 
We have bought this particular example from the first owner (she features as a model on the Artifort leaflet and has taken care of it all those years!).
